SF6 density and moisture measurement utilizes a genuine imported humidity sensor as the humidity-sensitive element. When trace amounts of moisture in the gas being measured enter the sensor's sampling chamber, water vapor is adsorbed into the sensor's micropores, causing a change in its capacitive reactance. The sensor then amplifies this subtle change and converts it into a standardized, linear electrical signal, which is processed by a microprocessor before being displayed on the LCD screen.

The partial discharge detection and micro-water tester features a wide measurement range, rapid response time, short measurement cycles, intuitive display, and simple operation. It is applicable across a remarkably broad spectrum—enabling humidity measurements in air, nitrogen, inert gases, and virtually any non-corrosive gas. Notably, it’s especially well-suited for measuring the moisture content of SF6 gas.
