September 3, 2025, marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in China's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the global victory over fascism. On August 15, 1945, Emperor Hirohito of Japan announced Japan's unconditional surrender through a radio broadcast known as the "Rescript on the Termination of the War." Just one month later, on September 2 of the same year, the formal ceremony for Japan's surrender to the Allied forces was held aboard the U.S. battleship Missouri, which was anchored in Tokyo Bay. In recognition of this historic moment, the Nationalist government issued an order on September 3, 1945, to celebrate the nation's victory and designated that day as the Victory Day of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. On February 27, 2014, the seventh session of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress officially designated September 3 as the Chinese People's Victory Day in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, establishing it as a national commemorative event held annually on that date.
On September 3, on this day filled with glory and cherished memories, the Chinese people commemorated the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War. A grand military parade was held solemnly at Beijing's Tiananmen Square, where General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech and inspected the reviewing troops. SHANGHAI OUMIAO ELECTRIC & INSPECTION CO., LTD. actively organized all employees to watch this magnificent event together, collectively celebrating the strength of our motherland and the pride of our nation.
That morning, colleagues from the Shanghai area arrived early at the company lobby and gathered neatly. On the large screen in the lobby, the majestic Tiananmen Square came into clear view, with the vibrant five-star red flag waving proudly in the breeze—creating an atmosphere of solemnity and reverence throughout the scene.
At exactly 9:00 a.m., the military parade commenced punctually. Amidst rousing music, the honor guard marched in perfectly synchronized, powerful steps as they passed through Tiananmen Square one by one. Advanced weaponry and equipment were also showcased in an orderly manner, each piece proudly highlighting our nation's formidable defense capabilities.
The employees were completely absorbed, their eyes fixed intently on the screens, their faces glowing with pride and excitement. As the fighter jet formation roared through the sky, leaving behind dazzling, multi-colored trails of smoke, the auditorium instantly erupted into a wave of enthusiastic applause.

Remember history, honor the martyrs, cherish peace, and create the future.
