    The OM.Y300 SF₆ Leak Monitoring and Alarm System is an online monitoring product specifically designed for SF₆-insulated switchgear stations/rooms across various voltage levels in power systems, focusing on detecting SF₆ gas leaks. This comprehensive monitoring and alarm system integrates functions to continuously track SF₆ concentration, oxygen levels, temperature, and humidity within the switchgear room environment. It also features fan interlock control and remote alert capabilities linked to the dispatch center, effectively ensuring the safety of maintenance and operation personnel when entering GIS switch rooms.


    System Architecture


    Architecture Description
    The OM.Y300 SF₆ Gas Leak Monitoring and Alarm System consists of a monitoring host, SF₆ and oxygen monitors, a temperature and humidity monitor, a fan controller, alarm lights, cables, and background software. The monitoring host is connected to the monitors via communication cables or LORA wireless transmission. The host features passive/active fan control nodes, enabling seamless coordination of fan start and stop operations. Additionally, the host supports data transmission and alarm functions through protocols such as RS485, IEC61850, and LORA.

    ● Diffusion-based collection, 24-hour online monitoring: An SF₆/O₂ dual-purpose sensor is independently installed in each GIS bay/switchgear compartment, enabling全天候 real-time monitoring of SF₆ gas leaks from the equipment itself.
    ● Equipped with online temperature and humidity monitoring functionality
    ● Supports hot-swapping: The number of monitoring units can be freely added or removed while the system is running, ensuring uninterrupted operation during maintenance or when expanding the monitoring units. This makes post-project maintenance and expansion exceptionally convenient.
    ● Color LCD Chinese display
    ● Supports mobile app display, allowing users to easily check in real time
    ● Suitable for high-altitude, cold-climate, and high-humidity regions: The product features a unique anti-salt-spray treatment process. Since its market launch in 2009, it has been widely deployed in Tibet’s high-altitude areas, extreme low-temperature regions, and offshore wind farms located in environments characterized by high humidity and intense salt spray—delivering consistently reliable performance.
